Somatic Arts Institute is a woman-owned continuing education provider dedicated to advancing the professional skills, clinical competence, and career pathways of licensed massage therapists. We serve practitioners who are committed to excellence, lifelong learning, and meeting the evolving demands of today’s evidence-informed, medical massage landscape.
Our curriculum is intentionally designed to support license renewal while expanding real-world, applicable skills. We offer relevant, science-based courses that reflect current clinical standards and prepare massage therapists to work confidently within multidisciplinary healthcare environments. In addition, Somatic Arts Institute provides advanced massage certifications that equip practitioners to collaborate effectively alongside rehabilitation facilities, physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and orthopedic surgeons.
Beyond clinical education, we honor the full spectrum of the healing arts. Our offerings include courses in sound healing, chakra alignment, energy work, tarot and healing, somatic movement for health and wellness, and other integrative modalities that support both practitioner growth and holistic client care.
Our instructors bring depth, credibility, and passion to every course. Each faculty member has a minimum of seven years of hands-on practice in bodywork therapy and over ten years of teaching experience. This ensures that our courses are not only current and evidence-informed, but also engaging, dynamic, and immediately applicable to professional practice.

Orthopedic Massage Certification - Class begins April 2026
Orthopedic Massage is a specialized approach to massage therapy that focuses on treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. It combines techniques from various modalities to assess and address soft tissue injuries, improve joint mobility, and support post-surgical or injury recovery.
Our orthopedic massage therapy continuing education workshops and certification allows current licensed massage therapists gain recognition for their advanced skills in assessment and treatment planning, enabling them to work more effectively with clients experiencing pain or limited movement.

Sports Massage Certification
Sports Massage is a specialized form of massage therapy designed to support athletic performance, prevent injuries, and aid in recovery before and after physical activity. It involves techniques tailored to the needs of athletes, including deep tissue work, stretching, and targeted muscle therapy.
